Standing on Holy Ground: Movement as Worship

I love the feeling of bare feet on a firm mat, after I’ve removed my shoes and socks and placed myself in a posture of surrender, alignment, and intentionality. Wherever I’m choosing to begin my workout that day, there is something comforting and grounding about that feeling.

I experience it as I begin my breath work, centering my body while aligning my spirit with the mission to which God calls me to that day: to glorify Him in everything I do. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; how I honor and serve Him with it is my spiritual act of worship.
